The people who find their way to Ehlers Estate tend to be looking for wine as a reason. A reason to gather. To linger. To open something worth talking about at a table worth sitting around.
The Wine Club is a standing invitation: to discover our wines before anyone else has them, to visit the estate whenever you want to come back, to belong to a community of people who share, without having discussed it, a particular set of values and the belief that the things worth doing are worth doing with intention. Our members believe that a life well lived has good wine on it, and good people around it.
Every membership includes complimentary tastings, preferred pricing, access to the historic estate grounds, and invitations to member-only events throughout the year. All allocations are fully customizable
Ambassador
Spring brings twelve bottles of current releases — the wines that define what the estate is doing right now. 1886. The Portrait. La Perdiz. The vintage in full, with room to customize by wine and quantity. Fall: a library selection reaching back through years no longer available anywhere else, and one magnum
Library selections in recent fall allocations have included the 2016 1886 Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 1886, and the Jean Leducq Cabernet Sauvignon These wines live now only in the cellars of people who are Ambassadors.
Early access to limited releases and invitations to Ambassador-only experiences are part of the membership as well, throughout the year.
Cellar Allocation
The Cellar Allocation arrives once a year, twelve bottles chosen from the wines most worth keeping. 1886 Cabernet Sauvignon, the estate’s flagship, The Portrait, La Perdiz. Current vintage selections that represent the full range of our over forty acres in St. Helena, alongside library vintages when they are available and worth sharing.

Profile Allocation
The Profile Allocation arrives twice a year, spring and fall, with six bottles chosen from whatever we are most excited about that season.

Every shipment is customizable. Come with requests or let the estate decide. Both are good options.

Estate Blanc subscription
Made from organically farmed estate-grown Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, fermented in concrete egg and neutral oak, the Sylviane has a mineral-driven acidity that unfolds, precise, saline, expansive. A wine made in small quantities from our property.
Worth cellaring, too — at three years it looks different, at five it looks better.
